Socio –Economic Development Programme

CDS, an association of a group of committed and professional social workers, has been working in the field of integrated rural development. The focus of the organization is empowerment of poor and marginalized section of the society through intervention with active involvement of the community. BASAID, Switzerland during the year 2012-13 has supported the organization for socio economic development of the people of Durgaprasadpur village in Talmul GP under Banarpal Block of Angul district, Odisha. Activities under the project were construction of village community centre, avenue plantation; farmer’s training on System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method of paddy cultivation & training of WSHG members on Mushroom Cultivation.
