Governance - PR Member’s Training Programme

To reach out wider community and disseminate information relating to progressive legislation CDS has adopted the strategy to build up the capacity of the elected PR members from the year 2008. In this context, CDS conducted training programs on capacity building for the elected PR members of Banarpal Block in Angul District supported by SIRD, BBSR / DRDA (Zilla Parishad), Angul for the 2nd time during the year 2022-23.(after 2012-13) Various entitlement programmes, the procedures to avail the same were discussed in these training programmes. The training resulted in building up the understanding of the participants and increasing their confidence to work for their communities to access their rights and entitlements. In addition to various resource persons from SIRD pool the eminent persons who visited the training programmes were Mr. Dharanidhar Nanda, Additional Secretary PR & Drinking Water Dept, Govt. of Odisha, Mr. Padmanav Samantray, Additional CDO-Cum-EO, Zilla Parishad, Angul, Ms. Eliza Mishra, Block Development Officer, Banarpal, Mr. Madhab Panigrahi, ABDO, Banarpal, Mr. Rakesh Kundu, Programme Manager (Skill) & Mr. Abinash Mohanty, Programme Manager (Finance).
